چکیده
Background: Physical activity is associated with a higher quality of life (QoL) in older adults, but there no evidence whether its effects on healthy individuals or mild disability performing medium-intensity exercise program can be assessed. Objective: This randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate moderate training improve QoL, and this model suitable for adults chronic diseases living the community. Methods: 120 participants, 1/1 either perform physical protocol undergo social (control group), were recruited 12-week registered at ClinicalTrials.Gov (NCT03858114). QoL was measured through Health-Related Quality Life Survey Short Form - 12 items tool (SF-12). Results: The participants involved exercise-training had improvement, compared those cultural activities, who experienced change even worsening their QoL. However, between-groups differences did not attain statistically significant threshold, when globally assessed, F[1, 103] = 2.98, p .087, nor analysis restricted (F[1, 2.78, .099) mental components 3.83, .053). Conclusion: Data from study are conclusive, although suggestive possible efficacy. An effort collect larger amount advisable. Research published only as protocols, providing final results, might useful demonstrate reject hypothesis that improves adults. On heuristic level, sum results conclusive individually decisive if meta-analyzed. (Randomized Controlled Blind NCT03858114).

BACKGROUND Some individuals with moderate/severe persistent asthma develop irreversible airway obstruction. These individuals present with dyspnoea, exercise intolerance and impaired quality of life (QOL), all of which could potentially be alleviated with exercise training. OBJECTIVE To investigate whether exercise training improves functional exercise capacity and QOL in middle-aged and olde...
